The City has suffered a major waterline break. Water pressure throughout the City has dropped but the pressure should be restored in the next few hours. A portion of the City along Ave E north of 5th Street may see a temporary outage. A BOIL WATER ORDER for the entire City has been issued. A crew is at the scene. Full service will be restored soon. The BOIL WATER ORDER CANNOT BE LIFTED UNTIL TUESDAY JANUARY 30, 2019 after laboratory tests confirm the safety of our water. THE BOIL WATER ORDER WILL BE IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTIFICATION.
