5. ITEM FOR COUNCIL ATTENTION, DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION; review, amending, and final approval of the General Fund Budget for Fiscal Year 2019.

ITEM FOR COUNCIL ATTENTION, DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION; approval of a textual amendment; an Ordinance of the City of Moody, Texas amending section 8.01.002 of the Municipal Code by prohibiting the public possession of open containers or the public consumption of alcoholic beverages and making a violation of the said section a criminal violation (Class C Misdemeanor) punishable with a fine not to exceed $500.00 per violation.
11. ITEM FOR COUNCIL ATTENTION, DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION; a requested resolution to issue an activity permit to the Moody Beautification Committee to hold a “City Wide Garage Sale” on September 22, 2018 on the 500 block of Ave E both sides of the street no intersections or cross streets to be blocked.
12. ITEM FOR COUNCIL ATTENTION AND ACTION; information from the Cotton Harvest Festival Committee regarding the upcoming October event and a requested resolution to allow an exemption to City Ordinance 8.01.002 Consumption of Alcohol in Public Place and to allow blockage of streets during CHF events.
